Description LPN-Internal Medicine-Greenlawn, NY-Full Time-Day-Offsite The Offsite Licensed Practice Nurse works as part of a healthcare team by assisting in planning and implementing care interventions while promoting high quality patient care in a professional, efficient and safe manner, ensuring the patient flow. Schedule follow-up appointments for patients as needed Communicates delays effectively when necessary Enters patient information into the computer accurately and in a timely manner. Manages the physician's desktop accurately and in a timely and efficient manner. Job Details The Nurse Manager provides clinical, operational, financial, and administrative leadership for Procedural Services, including PACU, Endoscopy, Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology (Cath/EP) Lab, and Special Procedures. The Nurse Manager promotes a culture of safety, quality, patient-centered care, employee engagement, shared governance, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. This role partners with physicians and interdisciplinary leaders to advance the organization's mission, Journey to Magnet®, and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) Nurse Manager Competencies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of critical care, procedural, perianesthesia, cardiovascular, and endoscopy nursing. Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Knowledge of quality improvement, healthcare finance, workforce management, and regulatory standards. Ability to analyze data, lead change, and achieve quality, operational, financial, and patient experience goals. Minimum Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree (MSN, MHA, MBA, or related field) preferred. Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience in critical care, cardiovascular, and/or procedural services At least two (2) years of progressive nursing leadership experience preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required. Salary Range USD $133,870.00 - USD $160,165.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
