This design allows the OHH nurse to maintain a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse patient ratio in the Critical Care Department and a 1:3 nurse patient ratio in the Interventional Unit. This allows CCU/IU nurses adequate time to monitor and care for critically ill patients thus ensuring the highest quality, safe and patient-focused care. Current BLS certification required at the time of hire and ACLS certification within 18 months of hire.
