The role of the Medical Assistant is to provide care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practices. QUALIFICATIONS Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, experience in IV therapy. - Valid OCN Certification is required. - The ability to assess patient needs and condition. - Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Current CPR certification. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
