Job Summary: Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Physician and/or Designee. Essential Responsibilities: Interviews patients and measure vital signs and other pertinent information as required by department. Records information in patients medical record. Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination. Assists clinician with care of the patient. Inventories, orders and replenishes medical supplies and materials. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Assisting residents with ADL tasks as indicated in their service plans. This includes but not limited to: assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, serving and assisting with meals, feeding, housekeeping, bed making, and laundry Always observe and uphold resident rights Positively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues Assist other staff as needed on the floors Assist residents to and from meals Supports resident activity participation by assisting residents to/from activities, encouraging participation, and leading activities when asked. Must be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of care for residents Keep environment safe and clean for residents; performing housekeeping duties as indicate don cleaning schedule or assignment sheets. Observe residents for safety and report any and all changes in resident condition effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner to LN on duty Assist in development and revision of Service Plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches. Answers all resident pendant/pull cords immediately. Carry and possess a working knowledge of community call/communication system All other duties as assigned.
