Triages patient calls and evaluates patient problems. • Opening and closing of sternotomies, emergency opening of post op cardiac patient, emergency intubation, perform required would care under the direction of the CT Attending. • Educator and trainer for nurses, residents and fellows. • Participates in quality management and performance improvement activities. • Call coverage may be required specific to departmental needs.
