REPORTS TO: Building Principal PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct health screenings and assessments; monitor students' physical growth and development, including vision, hearing, blood pressure, and other state-required screenings. Administer prescribed medications and treatments; provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized health care plans for students with special or chronic health needs. Maintain accurate health records; coordinate referrals, immunizations, communicable disease control, and compliance with NJDOE and Board regulations. Provide health counseling and education to students, families, and staff; serve as a resource on health-related matters. Collaborate with child study teams, administrators, and medical personnel to support student wellness and participate in district health program development. Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required: 2 years recent clinical/cath lab experience required. Broad knowledge of nursing practice and ability to apply specific skills in nursing intervention. Competency in management and leadership skills. Required Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred in related field. Training/Certifications/Licensure: Current NJ RN license, BLS. Appropriate certification as required by specialty or regulatory agency. Annual Salary: $98,700 - $158,398 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
