The LDRP Float Pool RN functions as a integral member of the interdisciplinary team and demonstrates advanced clinical judgment in caring for patients throughout the perinatal continuum, including laboring patients, postpartum mothers, newborns and families. Float Pool Responsibilities: Demonstrates competency to provide care across assigned Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. Flexes between units, facilities, and patient populations based on organizational needs and staffing demands. Quickly acclimates to varying workflows, staffing models, and unit cultures while maintaining high-quality patient care.
