Maintains venous access devices (ports) and administers IV push medications and flushes as ordered. Escorts patients to exam room and obtains patient weight and vital signs accurately. Informs and sets up patients and/or guardian for My Chart at the time of service and informs and educates patients regarding the benefits of signing up for the My Chart. Performs point of care lab testing and obtains blood samples and other specimens for lab testing as ordered. Provides patient teaching and supportive services as directed. Provides treatments as ordered. Train’s RN, LPN and MA in the clinic role. Schedules diagnostic and therapeutic procedures,obtain’ s precertification authorization as required by payers and ordered by the provider. Meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability, handles change, sets personal standards, stays focused under pressure, team player, and meets attendance/punctuality requirements. Education Graduate of an accredited RN program required. Work Experience Nursing or other health care experience preferred but not required. Certification/License Current RN license in the state of Missouri or Compact state required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required. Mental/Physical Requirements Considerable mental concentration required. Lifting up to 35 lbs., turning activities and nearly constant walking required. About the unit 6 North is a 32-bed surgical floor that offers a great learning environment fostered by our team of exceptional nurses. 6 North offers experiences that are normally not found in Med-Surg clinical rotation. The unit has a focus on surgical conditions including urology procedures, major and minor abdominal surgeries, ENT, bariatric and pulmonary surgeries, peripheral vascular procedures as well as other general surgical post-op needs. Job Summary The University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Cardiac Procedures Nurse for the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs. This position is located at CS Mott Children's Hospital. Diagnostic as well as interventional cardiac procedures are performed in the labs and include, but are not limited to, balloon angioplasty, transcatheter valve placements, stenting, biopsies, PICC line placements, hybrid procedures, and electrophysiology studies. Responsibilities* Primary job responsibilities consist of the diverse roles of patient prep, monitoring, circulating (catheter and equipment retrieval) and hemodynamic recording during catheterization procedures on a diverse patient population with known or suspected congenital or acquired cardiac disease. Patient population includes fetuses, infants, children, and adults. Other Job Responsibilities May Include Performing conscious sedation as needed following university policies and procedures. Performing various lab testing including ACTs, ABGs and oxygen saturations during procedures. Performing necessary QC/QA on equipment. Obtaining medications from the Pyxis. POSITION OVERVIEW The Evening Supervisor (LPN, RN) is primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing the evening functions of the Nursing Department(s) to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. : Medication Technician Position Summary: (PART-TIME-AFTERNOON SHIFT) Under the general direction of the Executive Director and Wellness Director, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administer medications to the residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. At this time the participant’s satisfaction with the Care Plan and CLA is evaluated Driving is required within PACE SEMI catchment area The CLA must have reliable transportation available on a daily basis, a current valid driver’s license, must maintain an acceptable driving record, and provide proof of current automobile insurance The CLA must have the ability to transfer and assist with moving patients; frequent walking, bending, and lifting of forty (40) pounds or more may be needed in the performance of duties The CLA may be required to change participant assignments based on the changing acuity level, participant needs, and participant census. 
Job Description The primary responsibility of the Health Screener is to provide coverage in the field ensuring that health screenings are completed accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment for clients and employees; perform with confidence all aspects of a health screening, including specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. This is an independent contractor (1099) position with the possibility of converting to a W2 per diem employee after meeting certain criteria. Responsibilities: Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, Blood Pressure and other health screening services based on service package Performs basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples and completes required quality control. Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings. Maintains accurate, complete, and legible records. Participates in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary. Complies with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents. Understands and complies with applicable federal, state and local laws. Adheres to quality assurance procedures and good manufacturing practices. Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards while on events. Performs other related duties as necessary.
