The RN is responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Licensing or registration required. Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date. Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed. 1+ years Med Surg or Pediatrics nursing experience preferred.
