The House Supervisor maintains nursing unit goal and objectivea and is responsible for the supervision of nursing unit(s).The House Supervisor ensures compliance of nursing practices, procedures, systems, and processes with company policy as well as federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. The House Supervisor coordinates programs and services under the direction and in consultation with the Director of Nursing (DON).

The RN Nurse Manager consults with staff, physicians, and Chief Clinical Officer on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. The RN Nurse Manager ensures nursing staff follows policy and procedures, participates in the investigation and preparation of reports. The RN Nurse Manager ensures adequate staffing for nursing units. The RN Nurse Manager has authority and responsibility for implementing the Standards of Nursing Practice related to all nursing care areas and functions. The RN Nurse Manager acts as the administrative representative in the absence of Chief Clinical Officer. Nurse Manager, Director of Nursing, RN Manager, Nursing Manager, RN Unit Manager, Clinical Manager, Med Surg Manager, Hospital Nurse Manager Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Nursing of health related field preferred. Licenses/Certification: Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia. BCLS and ACLS Certification required. Experience: Minimum three years' leadership in all aspects of medical surgical nursing. Minimum two years' supervisory experience preferred. Critical Care experience preferred.
