Participates in interdisciplinary patient care rounds by presenting findings on patients as it relates to admission/discharge, and groups on disease specific topics Applies principles of infection control and safety. What You'll Be Doing Closely monitors the patient for complications, administers medications including moderate sedation, documents the procedure, and assist with procedures. IR+PICC nurses also play an important role in communication and patient education both pre and post procedure.
