Job Responsibility Manages and leads team members, operations and patient care activities within a patient care unit during assigned shift. Collaborates with team members and nursing management in the development of methods, techniques and analytical approach to patient care. Demonstrates core clinical competencies for patient population of oversight in order to supervise and provide direct patient care. Maintains current knowledge of scope and standards of practice, healthcare legislation, and population health. Interprets policies, procedures and technical methods for team members. Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations that improve patient care delivery and team effectiveness using evidence-based strategies and solutions. Performs related duties as required. Current License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed. OR Master of Science required. Current License to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed. 191906 We are looking for a Pediatric Home Care Registered Nurse to work for one of our clients, a multi-service home care organization (CHHA), for their pediatric patients in Queens, NY. This is a permanent, full-time job. Monday - Friday, 38.5 hrs/week. Sign-on Bonus of $15,000 paid after 15 months of employment. In this role you would be responsible for traveling to a patient’s home to administer healthcare services and helping patients maintain their independence. Caseload - 20-25 patients per week. An ideal candidate would be a graduate of accredited school of nursing, and currently registered in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse and have experience with pediatric population.
