Position Summary Performs direct clinical activities in a courteous, caring and respectful manner. Evidence of continuing professional education. SCHEDULE: 8:00am-4:30pm EXPERIENCE: Five years experience as a medical/surgical nurse, a portion of which should be in the outpatient setting. SPECIAL SKILLS: Physical and cognitive requirements: Position’s physical requirements necessitate a full range of body motion including but not limited to, physically assisting patients, requiring stretching, bending, lifting, sitting, kneeling, stooping, standing, walking, pushing and pulling. Ability to utilize effective time management skills to set priorities to perform responsibilities, problem solve and deliver care. Current Occupational Health Nurse Certification or OHNC Certification within 2 years of hire into the position. CPR (BCLS) Certification with AED Certification, Venipuncture. Strong knowledge of the principles, practices, rules, requirements of Infection Control, Health & Wellness, Case Management, Medical Surveillance. Strong knowledge of the principles, practices,rules, requirements of the following within two years of employment:Occupational Health and Safety, federal, state and private agency workplace regulations to include OSHA, ADA, FMLA, STD/LTD, Drug and Alcohol testing, Respirator Fit testing, Employee Assistance Program, Travel Medicine, Disability Management, Workers Compensation and Fitness for Duty.
