Our Telemetry units typically care for patients with cardiac conditions, post-surgical needs, or other medical issues requiring close monitoring. Responsibilities Measure and document vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation) Observe patients for any changes in condition, such as increased discomfort, difficulty breathing, or changes in mental status, and report findings to the RN Observe cardiac monitors and reporting any irregularities to the nursing staff Ensure telemetry leads and equipment are properly placed and functioning Act as a liaison between patients and the nursing team Qualifications 1. Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure that the resident's total regimen of care is maintained. Ensure that all nursing service personnel are in compliance with their respective job descriptions.
