Completes all required documentation including resident observations, interventions, and patient response(s) in the medical record in accordance with policy • Assists in developing, reviewing, revising, and updating resident Plans of Care as indicated. Completes Accident/Incident Report forms as indicated and documents relevant information in the resident’s medical record as outlined in established policies and procedures. Job Description The Adult Medical Transitional unit (30 beds) provides care to a diverse adult patient population with an emphasis on acute and chronic medicine patients. Patients transition from the adult critical care units, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Emergency Department and acute care floors to this unit, depending on their condition and nursing care needs. Patients on 14 Moffitt commonly have central lines, wound care, nasogastric tubes, Q2 medications, electrolyte replacements and require maximum assistance for activities for daily living.
