Key Responsibilities: • Assess and monitor patient conditions; initiate and adjust care plans as needed. • Respond promptly to changes in patient status with appropriate interventions. • Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with policy. • Provide hygiene and comfort measures to support patient well-being. • Educate patients and families; identify and address emotional and psychosocial needs. • Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams. • Identify and manage patient risks, including falls and skin breakdown. • Follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper body mechanics. • Complete documentation, shift reports, and assigned tasks accurately and on time. • Prioritize multiple tasks and use time efficiently to deliver patient-centered care. Qualifications: 1. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Louisiana.
