Develops appropriate plans of care in collaboration with the hospital medicine physician for patients arising from critical analysis of histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing or procedures. Actively participates in the building of good rapport with staff and colleagues through attendance of hospital medicine department clinician staff meetings, communicating in respectful and courteous manner to staff, and committing to teamwork consistent with the mission/vision of Mount Sinai and its affiliates. Qualifications Completion of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Baccalaureate Degree Required or Completion of a Nationally Certified Nurse Practitioner Program Required. National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) PA-C or, American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), AGACNP-BC, American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), ACNP, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, and, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
