The pay range for this position is $19.69 hourly to $29.54 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity. Responsibilities Under the leadership of the Outpatient Department Manager and the indirect supervision of Physicians/APPs, the Medical Assistant assists with the delivery of patient care in the clinic by maintaining clinic flow, obtains routine clinical information on patients/family, provides physical care of the patients, procures and maintains par levels of clinic supplies, and provides light clerical assistance. Additional Medical Assistant tasks include: Transcribing of delegated orders into the EMR Casting/splint application, maintenance guidance and removal Obtaining specimens, including performing venipuncture This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
