Emergency Response Serve as the on-site clinical authority during assigned shifts. Respond to medical emergencies, perform immediate assessments, and direct staff response. Communicate critical incidents to the DON or Administrator on call. Resident & Family Relations Foster compassionate, resident-centered care and ensure residents’ dignity and rights are upheld. Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care issues or changes in condition. Participate in care plan meetings when required. Qualifications Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State . Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred). Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of NYS DOH and CMS nursing home regulations.
