Role Description The Operations Nurse Coordinator I is a full-time, on-site role based at UPMC Presbyterian University Hospital and UPMC Passavant McCandless (and three community offices). This role coordinates daily patient care activities, supports clinical workflows, and facilitates communication among nursing staff, physicians, and allied health professionals to ensure safe, efficient care delivery. The coordinator assists with patient triage, scheduling, and care transitions, monitors clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness, and helps maintain adherence to organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
