Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, dietary modifications, and lifestyle interventions. Prescribe medications as appropriate, including proton pump inhibitors, immunomodulators, and anti-inflammatory agents. Educate patients and families on gastrointestinal conditions, treatment options, preventive care, dietary changes, and post-procedure follow-up. Collaborate with gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, and other specialists within the Article 28 Facility to ensure coordinated, whole-person care. Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in electronic medical records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings as appropriate. Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology through continuing education and collaboration with supervising physicians.
