Position Summary The RN Lung Cancer Nodule Navigator is responsible for coordinating the care of patients with pulmonary nodules and suspected or confirmed lung cancer. The navigator serves as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and referring providers, ensuring timely diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and follow-up. This role emphasizes patient education, care coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes and experience. Key Responsibilities Patient Navigation & Care Coordination Serve as the primary liaison for patients with incidental or suspicious pulmonary nodules. Guide patients through diagnostic testing, referrals, and treatment pathways in collaboration with pulmonologists, radiologists, thoracic surgeons, and oncologists. Ensure timely communication of abnormal imaging results and follow-up recommendations. Facilitate scheduling of diagnostic imaging, biopsies, and consultations. Registered Nurse - Cardiac and Neuro Care Department - Weekend Program

Purpose The Weekend Program was developed to offer employees an alternative scheduled that will suit their individual needs while also meeting the staffing needs of the hospital which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 365 days a year. Definitions Weekend Employee-works 24 hours each weekend. Additional $10 per hour Weekend Program 12-hour shifts during the hours of Friday at 7:00PM to Monday at 7:00AM. Guidelines The weekend employee will be paid ten dollars/hour in addition to their base rate. The weekend employee will work every weekend. If a holiday falls on a weekend, the weekend employee will be required to work the holiday. Weekend employees will work 49 out of 52 weekends a year. The weekend employee may be assigned two non-consecutive shifts. A weekend employee may work non-weekend shifts beyond their required 24 hours. Non-weekend shifts will be paid at the standard scale rate for the position along with any applicable shift differentials and extra shift pay, including weekdays and holidays. Hours worked outside of the Weekend Program will be paid at the weekday rate; this included orientation, training and education requirements. Paid Time Off (PTO) An employee that transfers into the weekend program may carry forward up to 40 hours of available PTO. PTO in excess of 40 hours will be paid out at the employee’s current pre-weekend rate upon transfer. Upon transfer the employee will accrue PTO at the same accrual rate as non-weekend employees. Benefits-Weekend employees are considered PT and are eligible for PT benefits. Once a weekend employee transfers out of the program, they will not be eligible to return for 6 months; or at their manager’s discretion. Attendance-If a weekend employee fails to work or calls off more than 3 scheduled weekends, they may be removed from the program. All other attendance issues/concerns will follow Human Resources Policy #400, Attendance. Job Summary Provides direct patient care to adult through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the cardiac diagnostic and interventional catheterization / peripheral angio environment. Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room for equipment function and readiness.
