This unit cares for a wide variety of medical issues, including Alzheimer’s/dementia, psych, sepsis or other advanced infections, fall/syncope, palliative/ hospice, stroke, COVID-19, cardiac diagnosis: atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, etc. Our unit population consists of patients ages 20 to geriatrics. In addition to inpatient status, the staff also monitors and cares for patients who have been placed in an observation or outpatient extended stay status. Responsibilities: Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with our established nursing care procedures Participate in planning and following current resident care plans Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly Document accurately and completely Meet personal grooming needs for each resident Observe changes in resident conditions and report them promptly Maintain a clean and orderly environment Requirements: Must possess an active and unencumbered CNA license in Massachusetts, be in the process of obtaining one, or have recently graduated from a CNA course High school diploma or its equivalent preferred New graduates welcome!
