Job Requirements POSITION SUMMARY The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and in-direct patient care by adhering to the nursing process in a collaborative environment, promoting optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, care coordination, and patient and family engagement. Work Experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma. Work Experience: Meets unit specific care requirements; new graduates taken under consideration based on the needs of the unit. Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Florida or endorsement. Certification: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintained. Additional certifications to meet unit specific care requirements (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS). Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
