Job Overview Fairview has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant to join our Urgent Care team in Bloomington, MN This is a 0.01 FTE ( Casual/ On-Call position), non-benefit-eligible opening. Urgent Care Operating Hours are M-F 9:30am-8:30pm, Sat and Sun 8:30am-5:30pm. This position requires working day/evening and weekend shifts. Job Overview The Endoscopy RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patients undergoing GI procedures or pulmonary studies at the University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank. The RN role includes patient procedural prep and intra-procedure support as well as maintenance of this specific service line’s clinical operations (ex: room turnover, supply and equipment checks). The Endoscopy RN collaborates with MDs, RNs, Advanced Practice Providers, schedulers, and inpatient staff to coordinate the care of the patient in a fast-paced environment.
