Key Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or working with medically fragile children is highly valued Strong clinical assessment skills Comfort with equipment such as oxygen tanks, oxygen saturation/heart rate monitors, suction machines, and emergency seizure medication Excellent verbal and written communication skills Commitment to maintaining clear documentation Core Responsibilities: Safely accompany and monitor a non-verbal, wheelchair-dependent student on school transportation Assess and manage airway, seizure activity, and comfort during transport Utilize monitoring equipment and emergency supplies as needed Document all assessments and interventions promptly Communicate effectively with classroom nurses, parents, and school supervisors Role Details: Contract position: 4 days/week (TuesdayFriday), 7:30 am4:00 pm Summer ESY: July 12 through August 6; School Year: August 31 through June 21 Caseload: 1:1 with one student; ages and schools not specified If you are ready to make a direct difference in a students life and meet the clinical and emotional needs of this important role, we encourage you to apply now for immediate consideration.
