Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working Must be at least 18 years of age Basic computer skills required. : Medication Technician Position Summary: (FULL-TIME-MIDNIGHT SHIFT) Under the general direction of the Executive Director and Wellness Director, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administer medications to the residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. Qualifications and Required Experience for Medication Technician: Excellent communication skills and a compassion for older adults. Must possess valid driver’s license. Primary Responsibilities for Medication Technician: Administers medications according to the physician order on the medication administration record (MAR). Documents medications administered on the MAR in accordance with company policy. Checks MARs immediately after administration and prior to end of shift to ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Conducts change of shift report with oncoming/outgoing shift personnel. Job Description The primary responsibility of the Health Screener is to provide coverage in the field ensuring that health screenings are completed accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment for clients and employees; perform with confidence all aspects of a health screening, including specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
