We are seeking a caring and dedicated Charge Nurse to join our rapidly growing team at our skilled nursing facility in West Babylon! Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain accurate patient records and closely monitor vital signs. Lead and support our dedicated nursing staff, providing supervision and assistance. Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, assigning duties, and overseeing patient care. Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges for seamless transitions. Communicate patient status to the Unit Manager. Foster a nurturing and collaborative work environment, offering guidance to staff members. Provide empathetic support to patients and their families during challenging times. Collaborate with doctors and administrators to optimize patient care and outcomes. Communicate protocol updates efficiently to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, creating a safe environment for all. Keep essential reports up-to-date to maintain operational efficiency. Respond swiftly and calmly to any emergencies or issues that arise.
