Newport News, Virginia Overview Performs duties under the direction or supervision of a licensed medical practitioner or a registered nurse. Responsible for conducting a focused assessment of the patient to include vital signs and gathering data, implementing established plans of care, and evaluating effectiveness of treatments in the medical practice setting. May float to other practices within the region providing operational support as needed. What you will do Accurately completes all required clinical documentation consistently per Riverside Medical Group standards. Maintains documentation for quality assurance to include but not limited to point of care testing, medication logs and annual wellness visits. Works with providers to assure care gaps are routinely addressed with each patient. Documentation is accurate, legible and completed same day. Knowledgeable and skillful in lab functions and lab proficiency testing. Maintains excellent clinical competency by adhering to the standard clinical expectations for Riverside Medical Group.
