Displays an understanding of each patient's cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturity in the assessment, treatment and care undertaken. In this role, you will provide services across the continuum of care (independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing). This is a unique opportunity to build and manage an outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus, as well as provide care for our assisted living and skilled nursing residents. You will plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area, including but not limited to, management of team members and the day-to-day operations of the practice, managing resident healthcare needs in compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining knowledge of the long-term care industry and geriatrics through continuing education, and serving as clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students.
