Report/refer issues/abnormal data to the Medical Provider as needed and complete all related documentation. Ensure all specimens are packaged and labeled appropriately by end of day. Identify changes in the patients' condition and basic patient care needs. Institutes appropriate interventions per policy and refers accordingly to the Medical Provider. Maintain a safe environment for the patients and staff and applies the appropriate precautions and protocols (OIISA, Infection Control, HIPAA, etc.) Demonstrate knowledge of ambulatory care setting and work-flows germane to multi-specialty office setting. Assist patients with administrative delivery of care such as, Disability and Workers Compensation paperwork, Home Health paperwork, authorizations, and act as a patient navigator when applicable.
