Job Summary Duties will include: Moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and pre and post care of the Cath Lab patient. Documents and obtains accurate patient information for national registries. Performs daily quality controls for a wide range of equipment utilized in the routine care of a patient. Develops and integrates safe, competent and efficient standards of care for patients presenting to the lab. Demonstrates knowledge of cardiovascular medications, including dosing, side effects , and drug interactions. Uses critical thinking to identify and manage adverse events or unanticipated outcomes. Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally. Knowledge of anatomy. Knowledgeable in radiation safety. Advanced ECG and arrhythmia skills required. Flexibility in work hours. The nurse supervises and directs the efforts of the Caregiver when involved in the client’s plan of care.
