Description The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. You will have responsibilities including but not limited to: Supervises the (self) administration of medication to patients. Transcribes medication orders and monitors medication records for compliance. Perform accurate and complete audits of medication transported, received, administered, stored, or disposed, as trained, and assigned. Maintain patient confidentiality and conduct in accordance with Phoenix House medication policies and procedures. Enter data into computer EMR software. Answering telephones Update and file patient medical records Scheduled appointments Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory services Correspond with external agencies, pertaining to client(s) as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
