Job Summary Provides skilled professional nursing services to students with medically complex health needs. Analyzes the total health care of students with chronic illnesses/disorders, and performs designated routine non-invasive and invasive procedures as established by physician orders. Distributes/administers prescription and non-prescription medication to students in accordance with applicable laws and directives, following guidelines described in school health policy manual. 6. Designs intervention in conjunction with other health and education team members to prevent further disability. 8. Facilitate Telehealth appointments for students. 9. Performs other duties as assigned. Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse.
