JOB IS CHARGE NURSE ,MONDAY THRU FRIDAY , 7AM TO 3 PM: MUST BE LICENSED IN GOODSATNDING WITH TEXAS LICENSE BOARD L.V.N OR R.N BASIC JOB DUTIES CONSIST OF A CHARGE NURSE POSITION, WORKING WITH ASSIGNED STAFF ,MONITORING PATIENT CARE, COMMUNICATION WITH VARIOUS PHYSICIANS, FAMILY MEMBERS, OTHER STAFF MAMBERS, AND DOCUMENTATION OF CHANGES IN CONDITION,PHYSICIAN ORDERS,HELPING SET UP DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS,SERVICES NEEDED BY RESIDENTS. 
The Medical Assistants work closely with patients and under the supervision of Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants. Medical assistants spend a significant amount of time working directly with patients obtaining medical history information; checking vital signs; performing tests; collecting specimens and administering injections/medications. Preparing the patient for exams and informing patient of treatment procedures. Entering patient data in CPSI. They will also perform the administrative tasks such as but not limited to maintaining compliance records; inventory & ordering supplies. Prefer certification. Must be able to work from 8am - 8pm rotating days during the week and rotating Saturdays. 
Oakbrook is now hiring for OUR WEEKEND DOUBLE CHARGE NURSE POSITION. THIS POSITION WORKS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 7 AM TO 11 PM AND IS CONSIDERED A FULL TIME POSITION. CHARGE NURSE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OVERALL LEADERSHIP OF THEIR ASSIGNED STAFF AND RESIDENT CARE. DOCUMENTATION, CONTACTING PHYSICIANS FOR RESIDENT CARE AND MANAGEMENT, ROUTINE ROUNDS TO ASSURE QUALITY CARE BEING PROVIDED,TALKING WITH RESIDENTS,RESIDENTS FAMILY , REPORTING TO WEEKEND SUPERVISOR AND DIRECTOR OF NURSES WHEN NEEDED , MUST BE CURRENTLY LIC. AS LVN OR RN
