The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high quality medical care, collaborative approach to facility, patients, family dynamics and oversight for our patients. Candidates with hospital administration/management level experience are desired, but not required. We work closely with our staff to help keep patients comfortable at home and out of the hospital. Responsibilities of a RN: · Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for supervision of care given to residents by Licensed Practical Nurse, CNA, and other members of the team. · Registered Nurse (RN) develops resident's daily assignment sheets and makes changes as indicated based on staffing patterns and resident acuity. · Registered Nurse (RN) evaluates resident's response to medication and treatment. · Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring administration of medication, treatments, and evaluating resident’s response to medication and treatment. Qualifications of a RN: ü Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing ü Licensed in the State of New York as a Registered Nurse (RN) ü CPR/BLS certification $100,000 - $130,000 / hour
Wound Care RN- LTC Brooklyn, NY *Salary: $100K - $130K annually (Depending on Experience)* Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse: Works in conjunction with the DNS in supervising the restorative nursing, and wound care programs. Review new or worsening wounds. Reviews pressure ulcer prevention interventions. Makes recommendations relating pressure relieving devices. Coordinate wound care with interdisciplinary team (dietitian, rehab services, social service, nursing) Develop nursing care plans for resident at risk or currently with skin integrity issues, include treatment protocols Conduct weekly wound rounds with wound care consultant(s) / provider and conduct MD and family notifications and follow-up (care plan updates, etc). Provide resident and staff education. Work collaboratively with Physical therapy and nursing staff to maintaining nursing rehabilitation programs Qualifications: Must have excellent leadership skills Must have current New York State RN License Must have long-term care experience Must have experience as a RN Wound Care Nurse Must have Certified Wound Care Nurse Certification #6641 #5023
