Your responsibilities will include: Must be able to independently first scrub TRAUMA, ortho, neuro, DAVINCI, open Vascular procedures. No call except holiday call with this position. Shift is Tues, Wed and Thurs nights 1900-0700. Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high-performing, collaborative team environment What qualifications you will need: Completion of a Surgical Technician program or Surgical Technician training with evidence of experience in the past three years or a licensed healthcare provider with 1 year operating room experience. Certification preferred. Current BLS certification required Must be competent to perform in a minimum of three OR specialty areas, one of which must be Neuro or Cardio/Thoracic. Specialty areas are defined as Cardio/Thoracic, ENT, Neuro, Ortho, Vascular or robotics.
