Responsibilities Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time temporary position on night shift (7p - 7:30a, 36 hrs/week, every other Saturday and Sunday) shift for a 6-month temp assignment . Coordinates and communicates patient admissions to unit-based nurse facilitators and removes barriers to expedite flow and assure admission timeframe targets. Collaborates and assigns bed of transfers from other hospitals to LGH. Determines and communicates need to hold patients in non-bedded units e.g PACU, post procedure areas etc based on census and discharges. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Required Qualifications: Current licensure as Registered Professional Nurse, issued by the PA State Board of Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN. Seven 7 years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting Three 3 or more years of experience in a managerial hospital operations role e.g. Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, Nursing Supervisor, Charge Nurse Facilitator A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program. Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Masters in Healthcare. Previous Nursing Supervisor experience.
