Total cash compensation includes earnings from per visit point pay and hourly pay and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. This role receives two types of compensation depending on the work being performed. When conducting visits, you will be paid per visit point rate compensation. Your per visit pay will be calculated by multiplying your per visit point rate by the productivity points you accrue for various types of visits. Each type of visit is assigned a certain number of productivity points that is inclusive of "direct" and "indirect" patient care activities. Visits are assigned based on patient and business needs. The number of visits performed each week will vary based on individual productivity targets and the productivity points assigned to the visits performed. The Director collaborates with residents, families, healthcare providers and staff to provide quality care and ensure regulatory requirements. Participate in the interviewing process and select, with the Executive Director's approval, all clinical support candidates to include, but not limited to, nurses, CHHA's and CMA's. Ensure yearly written performance evaluation of all nursing staff. Assist in developing, implementing, and conducting in service training programs that relate to the nursing department. Ensure that there are adequate supplies for resident care. Ensure that medical and nursing care is administered in accordance with the resident's wishes and per the individualized care plan. In coordination with the Executive Director, prepare, plan and adhere to the nursing services budget. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information. Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and resident rights are maintained. Maintain a liaison with the residents, their families and support departments to adequately plan for the resident's needs, including but not limited to care conferences regularly. Position Requirements A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing institution. Must hold an active Registered Nurse license within the state of employment. CPR and First Aid Certified Minimum of 1 year experience in Assisted Living community. Excellent communication skills to engage residents, family and staff. Understand senior care needs.
