We prepare and recover our patients for stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac procedures including diagnostic angiograms/stent placement, ablations, pacemakers and ICD insertions, and open heart surgery. Our unit cares for many patients with heart failure and cardiac arrythmias needing IV drips. A member of the interdependent team led by a designated RN, is accountable to perform patient care duties and activities for a group of patients. We are currently hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Orthopedic/Surgical unit. This position is a .6 FTE straight Evening shifts. 8-hour shifts M-F and 12 hour shifts every third weekends. An RN position in the Orthopedic/Surgical Unit at Gillette Children's involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients under 18 who are recovering from surgery and require an inpatient stay of one or more nights.
