The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. Responsibilities Day Position| 48 hours per two-week pay period (0.6 FTE) | 12-hour shifts | Every third weekend Provide expert care to low- and high-risk pregnant patients Support antepartum and postpartum mothers and families Assess and document fetal monitoring Advocate for the family’s birth plan and participate in shared decision-making Collaborate as an engaged team member in our culture of safety and communication Advance your skills —after gaining labor experience, RNs are trained to circulate in the OR NRP and ACLS training provided. Required Qualifications NRP certification Minimum of 1 year Labor and Delivery, or Postpartum Experience Minnesota RN License BLS certification Preferred Qualifications ACLS Certification required within 6 months of hire.
