Summary The Division of Abdominal Transplant in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our multidisciplinary hepatology and liver transplant team. This faculty position offers the opportunity to practice in a nationally recognized transplant program providing comprehensive care to patients with chronic liver disease and undergoing liver transplantation. The APP will primarily provide outpatient hepatology care while collaborating closely with hepatologists, transplant surgeons, and other members of the hepatology and liver transplant teams. Job Purpose Successful candidates will be passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care, working in a collaborative academic environment, and contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals. The selected candidate will be appointed to the rank of Instructor and will be eligible for Baylor College of Medicine faculty benefits.
