Distributes food/water and feeds residents. Assists with repositioning and transferring residents. Ambulates and transports residents. Records and totals fluid intake and output. Weighs residents. Documents on flow sheets. Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care. Responds to call lights in a timely manner. Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care. Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse. Takes and records vital signs. Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order. Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge. Skill / Experience Requirements . Valid CNA certificate. Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.
