About this Job: MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Cardiovascular Operating Room A minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience with both circulating and scrubbing is required for this position. This is a Unit-Based Per Diem opportunity requiring 4 shifts every 6-week schedule. Shifts are 10 hours, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. General Summary of Position Professional care provider who assesses plans implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients from admission through discharge. In collaboration with the patient and family provides theory-based professional nursing care and coordinates care delivery with various members of the interdisciplinary team. Must work at least four shifts in a 6-week period inclusive of two weekend or night shifts; also must work one designated official holiday.
