You will play an essential role in the person-centered treatment of adults with severe mental illness. The facility is over 17,000 square feet with a separate full-size gymnasium. Night shift differential is $4.00 for all shifts worked and both shifts receive a weekend differential of $1.50/hour. Our Registered Nurse Residency Program (RNRP) is a 6- month bridge program that allows an RN with less than one year of experience to work directly with experienced nurses and transition into professional hospital nursing positions. The RN will be working directly with a preceptor to become proficient in the basic skills to be an RN. In addition to working with a preceptor, the RN will work with the Education Department in a series of classes, hands on skills sessions, and simulation experiences that will boost their knowledge base and skill set. This program is set to start mid-July. This position is Full-time (PT option available). As part of the program, a capstone project is required. The quality improvement project is chosen by the RNRP staff in collaboration with their unit leadership.
