Director of Nursing (DON) Location: Baltimore, Maryland Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department in a skilled nursing facility. The DON will be responsible for providing strong clinical leadership, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and promoting high-quality resident care. Investigate incidents, accidents, complaints, and allegations and implement corrective actions as needed. Support survey readiness and participate in regulatory surveys and inspections. Identify educational needs and coordinate ongoing staff education and competency programs. Promote retention, accountability, teamwork, and professional development among nursing staff. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland . Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Strong knowledge of federal and Maryland skilled nursing regulations. Knowledge of CMS requirements, infection prevention, quality improvement, and survey processes.
