Reviews patient intake information and assists in managing patient data and medical records. Ensures complete, accurate, and organized records in accordance with agency policy. Ensures coordination of services across disciplines and individuals while ensuring appropriate use of funding sources. Balances good clinical outcomes with positive financial outcomes for the agency. Follows up with patients' doctors to obtain proper orders and resolve any outstanding issues. Works closely with the DON to ensure departmental responsibilities are met. Represents the agency in meetings, regulatory surveys, and committees when needed. Acts as the DON in their absence. Team Communication & Coordination Reinforces changes and ensures staff compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
