Current CPR as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies. Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Complies with CareBuilders at Home policies/procedures. Complies with client facility nursing policies/procedures. Maintains confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel. Documents patient care as assigned in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Follows the patient's plan of care as assigned. Delivers personal care services to patients as assigned. Takes vital signs and documents according to facility protocols. Records patient input and output as assigned. Maintains competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state specific requirements.
