Accountable for welcoming and preparing the patient for their appointment, the Medical Assistant informs patients of relevant and required information for their visit and provides clear communication around the services they are scheduled to receive. Assists the surgeon during various procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, draping patient, etc. maintaining sterile technique. Demonstrates timeliness of procedure set-up and turn-over cases within appropriate time frame. High School Diploma required Completed Surgical Technology Program from Accredited School/ Program.
