LPN Job Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role focuses on providing direct patient care and supporting physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff in a primary care/health center setting. Main Responsibilities: Take patients' vital signs, height, and weight. Draw blood and collect/process urine and other lab specimens. Perform EKGs as ordered. Assist physicians and NPs/PAs with patient care and gynecology procedures, including Pap testing.
